Trees and Seeds June 18-July 2, 2024 service-based trip to the Amazon Region and Machu Picchu.  All ages welcome!

Trees and Seeds, a local non-profit in the Upper Valley,  announces a new date for our service-based  trip to Peru in 2024.  For various reasons, we are rescheduling the trip planned for February 2024 to June 18 - July 2, 2024.  This trip will include time in the Amazon region of Peru, as well as travel to Cusco and Machu Picchu, one of the new seven wonders of the world and a Unesco World Heritage site.  We will be planting trees, working on sustainable gardens, learning about medicinal plants, and providing educational and recreational opportunities for children in various small communities along the Amazon River.  At the end of the trip we will travel to Cusco and visit Machu Picchu.  

Due to a generous grant from a local foundation we are able to offer this trip at a reduced cost.  Please check out the itinerary for the costs and use the application form to apply for this opportunity.
